Here are “4 Reasons to Take Women over 50 Seriously”…

Reading in the Telegraph: Amy Jones says women over 50 are hardest hit when it comes to getting work & saving for pensions.

Post Covid, this generation is being forced into early retirement.

Stuart Lewis, founder of Rest Less recruitment firm says the lack of work, combined with a pensions gap means women over 50 are “in a financially precarious position ahead of retirement”. He believes age discrimination was “rife, prior to the pandemic and is only set to increase in the wake of the crisis”.

If you employ people, consider women over 50 who give great value.

So here’s my list:

  • Great work ethic (less distractible, more focused)
  • Fewer absences (younger people take twice as much time off sick)
  • High emotional intelligence, experience & resilience
  • Advanced transition skills ( (kids, back to work, juggling home & work)

Women over 50 are the new gold standard of work. As a result, all companies can benefit by acting now.

So who doesn’t want that?
